We had a delightful week at this rustic retreat in Tuscany. The gardens were beautiful and the swimming pool area was spacious and clean. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, providing us with a sumptuous breakfast at their property nearby.

We were disappointed that the internet was not available as advertised, causing inconvenience during our stay. we felt that the supplies provided in the apartment were inadequate, requiring us to purchase our own items.

Beautiful garden and tucscan architecture. Close to Cortona and other well known places in Tuscany. Friendly and helpful staff, free wi-fi and really nice place for taking rest.

The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet area surrounded by lush greenery. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel provided excellent service, with amenities like a swimming pool and outdoor seating area. The staff were friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was clean and tidy, and had all the necessary facilities including a kitchen and dining area. I especially enjoyed the beautiful garden and pool area, where I could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services that made my stay truly enjoyable.

The villa was in a good location and very good value for money.

There was no air conditioning facility, but fans were provided for every room. It was also difficult to find the location of Residence Il Casale. There were a few signs on the main road, but once we turned off the signs stopped and it took us nearly an hour to find the place, which was tiring as it was already 10pm when we arrived. We were then taken to a villa on the hillside, about 4 miles from Il Casale. It turned out to be a better location and nearer to the historic town of Cortona, but we were unsettled when we arrived and the website could possibly do more to specify where the villas are located

It was self contained large home style accommodation but very peaceful and in an beautiful environment.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The apartments were clean and tidy, and we especially loved the beautiful garden and pool area. The hotel is located in a quiet and green area, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was super nice and gave us a warm reception, making everything easy for us. They even upgraded our reservation to a better apartment at no extra cost. The apartments themselves were nicely furnished and decorated, built in stone. We enjoyed having breakfast in our own corner of the garden, facing the beautiful gardens. The hotel also had great facilities, including a perfect pool. The location was also convenient, with easy access to wineries in the area.

Il Casale is a very rustic collection of cottages decorated in keeping with the age of the buildings - circa 1800s. Very quaint and authentic. We stayed in the villa for just over a week, which meant that we did not use the laundry facilities available. The pool area is clean, plenty of sun beds and the pool is a good size. Il Casale is situated near the historic town of Cortona and shops and the nearest town is less than a 10 minute drive away

Great place to stay in Tuscany. Central location and clean comfortable room. Gorgeous antique furniture, well equipped kitchen. Would gladly return!

Beautiful and romantic retreat in the heart of Tuscany. You can relax by the clean and spacious pool and enjoy the lovely garden area. the apartments are quite large, with full kitchen and are close to the main tourist attractions in Tuscany and Umbria.

The apartments are quite rustic and the plumbing system needs work. the wifi is not reliable and there were no basic supplies provided, such as dishwashing soap, sponges, or paper towels.

Truly beautiful place. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. It is furnished with beautiful antique pieces of furniture that are at the same time simple and useful. The kitchen had two additional tables on the side that were very practical.

The tv package could have been better, although it is definitely not an important thing when you go to a place like Il Casale. But I was disappointed to miss the Wimbledon final and it would have been nice to find at least one or two channels in English.

Simply super. Highly recommended for those who like privacy. Cosy bedroom and nice salon. Excellent loaction for the trips to nearby fantastic places. No problem with parking. Enjoy self made dinner prepared frorm local food and wine! There is everything in the kitchen including freezer!

Location. Perfect for exploring Tuscany. Room...fabulous with great views and very comfortable. Staff (Vittorio) very helpful. Laundry on site. Easy parking. Supermarket close by.
